WOOD CHIPS FROM SAWMILL

• Our woodchips are made from debarked residual wood from the ongoing sawmill production. The fine are screened out, which keeps that the ash content low for heating systems.
  
  
• The wood chips are characterized by a high energy content of approximately 1000 KW/m³.
  
  
• Our woodchips are available to the regional energy-market.

SAWDUST

• Usable quantities of pure sawdust fall during ongoing sawmill operations.
• This wood residue suitable in many ways. It is used in agriculture as bedding or the sawdust is used in pellet and chipboard production.

OFF-CUTS// FIREWOOD

• Another wood residue from the current sawmill production are off-cuts.It accumulates in the processing of round logs, which are cut to production-related lengths at the roundwood yard.
  
  
• The resulting tree discs are ideal for use as firewood, which is available to the regional energy market
  
  
• Further portions of the off-cuts are processed internally into wood chips.

BARK

• Another by-product of ongoing sawmill production is the bark.
  
  
• The logs, shortened to production-related lengths, pass through a debarking plant in the area of the log yard, which separates the bark.
  
  

• The bark obtained in this way is available to the regional energy market.
